I know I did this during exercise, but I am concerned about the severity. The muscle in my arm, between my upper arm and shoulder, is in pain. It hurts to lift it above my head and other stretching hurts, too. I thought it may be because I was exercising a new muscle, but after a week, after the rest of my body is fine, this one area hurts a lot. Any advice?

If you want to play it safe you need a referral to a neurologist who can do an MRI on you and you will know for sure.

confident, they could properly be, yet, it valuable sounds like a pulled muscle to me, i'm no Dr., so do no longer quote me on that. Did your Dr. point out a pulled muscle? Does he supply you sturdy muscle relaxers? good success, i'm on incapacity for persistent muscle discomfort (fibromyalgia) and that i comprehend your discomfort. you may desire to talk on your record back and tell him that he needs to do something else that can assist you, or deliver you to somebody who can.
