My sister wants to get her clit pierced. She is 18. What do you think? If you have one or know someone who got it done, can you tell me what it feels like when you get it and afterwards or anything she should know! Thanks

the former is not recommended (and can damage nerves), but the latter is one of the easiest and fastest healing piercings there is, as it is only a very thin web of skin. mine healed very quickly, with absolutely no infection (my ears were more difficult & more painful!) it only hurts for a second--for real! but make sure her peircer warns her when EXACTLY they are doing it--i kneed mine in the head cuz i wasn't ready & jerked! lol. kinda sore afterward when wiping for a couple weeks, but that's it. tell her to bring a clean liner when she gets it done, as it does bleed a bit for a couple days. and there's a time period afterward (piercer should inform her of this [2 wks i think]--and proper salt water cleansing [2x a day]) that no sex or touching at all is allowed to prevent infection, and then a longer period of time when gloves & condoms & barriers MUST be used.
also, she needs to check into how they do it, the should use a 'recieving tube' for the needle or they won't get it done right (instead of just thru the thin web it will go parallel to it). it is a challenging piercing, only trust an experienced & qualified piercer. some people's anatomy's are not suited to it, to check, she should try to put a q-tip sans cotton under the hood, if she can't do that she can't get pierced.
as to the sexual aspect, it's only really helped my husband find it easier, and actually can get OVER stimulated & uncomfortable quite easily--it's different. nothing very dramatic though.
the 'tatoo' section under 'beauty & style > skin & body' would be a good spot to repost this question for more answers.
to kellyhert--so don't get one!! you probably know people that have them and don't know it. unless you go around checkin out every woman's genitalia-- what's it to you?

An old girlfriend of mine had it done she said it hurt for a little bit but felt alot better about an hour later with a few drinks and some oral from me. After it was healed she started to have multiple orgasms during intercourse. She said she had not had multiples prior.

She's going to risk losing sensation to the clitoris because of the trauma. As well, because it can't be left to the air, it is HIGHLY likely she'll develop an infection.
However, if you sister wants to do this, she's legally and adult - albeit a not-very-bright one. She can do what she wants....but remind her that she only has ONE clit.

I heard you can get orgasms alot but you are risking alot because of infections!
