Jimmy I do not understand the words coming out of your mouth.I said D-Wade's final appearance was better then MJ's in 90-91.But what does that have to do with Kobe vs MJ?

Contain is a difficult question to answer. Could he hold him to 20 points? Yes. He could also get burned for 35+ and the Bulls could still win......Kobe is a great player, but man Jordan defined the way the game is played above the rim.

I know its hard for Jordan worshipers to accept, but yes, players DO get older and lose a step or two. He was a great defensive player his first 8-10 years. But he got older and couldn't keep up with the faster players. Most of the time, the Bulls would put Ron Harper on the opponents top player instead of Jordan. The all-defense awards he won after 1996 were purely popularity awards.
A younger Jordan would probably be able to contain a 19 year old Kobe.

I have compared the numbers for both players, and while they're both impressive, I haven't found one statistic that favors Kobe over Michael. Keep in mind, in 1997 Jordan was close to 35.
