I've read several of your questions, and you KNOW what ypu need to do....we both know what you need to do. Easy?? No Mam, it's NOT easy! I'm 56 myself, and struggle every day, but I would have been dead if I hadn't gotten divorced. The "marriage"I had, was killing me. Yours is killikng you too. You need to get a divorce, find a decent man, and live out the rest of your years with some happiness. Is it out there??? Sure!! But the only way you're going to find it is to get out of the "tragedy" you're in, and look for it. Good Luck!!

Fifty two is not going to be a burden nor a deterrant. So don't lose any sleep over it although this statement is easier said than done.
In addition true and faithful love is out there. You'll find plenty of men in the same boat that you are. Of course no one likes to start over again fresh at our age but this time you'll know exactly what to look for, what all the schmoozy, BS lines you'll be fed are and see freaks and guys who just want to get into your panties coming from miles away. thats the beauty of being mature and having been in a relationship. Your senses are honed to a fine edge.
On face value I suspect that you'll do exceptional. You seem to be smart enough and have enough going for you that failure isn't in the cards. Even if it were I doubt you'd allow it to be considered an option.
Happy hunting...still plenty of decent men out there.

I don't believe 52 is to old. There is no such thing as to old to be in love. I was very fortunate to be married for 33 years. My wife died in a car accident at the age of 49, or I would still be happily married. My answer is more personal. My brother at the age of 60 found the true love of his life. His wife of 25 years left him for a younger man, and he met this young lady, who I adore for the way she cares for him. Her age is 52. Never give up!!!

I know that sometimes with all the pressure that's put on us by the media, we can forget that love doesn't just happen if you're young, lithe, firm-chested and independantly wealthy...it happens everywhere, everyday, to normal, average people leading normal, average lives and dealing with normal, average feelings.
Have faith, and remember - what you send out to the world is what the world will provide. Live a life full of love for yourself and others (sounds like you're showing yourself some long overdue selfcare right now!) and the world will give you back love. See? The fact that a complete stranger is writing to you to say she cares and to keep your chin up is proof of that!...

52 isn't considered 'old' anymore! You've still got half your life in front of you! (especially if you take care of yourself) There are still ALOT of men out there looking for women of all ages...people who have lost a loved one, divorced, or just haven't found the right person yet.
I think you should do ok. Good Luck! :)
