I know what you mean.
If you remembered, you wouldn't have any more.
With me, I think the pain is so intense, so strong - you can't remember it.
Also, the second your child is born - all the pain is gone - you have so many happy emotions - the pain doesn't matter.

I remember why because i believe woman and man were blessed and cursed out of the same mouth of God. The curse of the woman is bleeding every mouth and child labor. The blood is remember the blood of Jesus. The pain of child birth is hell and the release is like heaven. Some woman actually get a taste of hell and heaven (God's woman) It is a wonderful thing to give birth. At least for me and my husband wanted a child and was happy with me.

With my first i did not have fairly undesirable contractions. when I were given the epidural i could not sense a ingredient, including the three minutes of pushing the newborn out. With my 2d the difficult artwork replaced right into a lot faster, purely 5 hours. I went from 4 or 5cm to 10cm in 20 minutes and pushed him out in below 5 minutes so i did not adventure a huge quantity of soreness for a lengthy time period like some women human beings do. They gave me something on the perfect minute (like 30 minutes before he replaced into born) to "take the sting off." All it did replaced into make me sense very a lot out of it and inebriated. i wager it truly is why i do not undergo in options many of the soreness.

I've heard it might actually have something to due with the endocrine system and endorphines. I have heard that endorphines (which act as a natural pain killer) may also have a negative effect on memory making things less memorable (which is good in this case) but I am not sure about any of that.

I know I remembered it all with that very first contraction with baby #2! I remember thinking...."Oh God...I remember this!"

I think that probably all the emtions wrapped up with the fluctuations in hormones...it's not that we dont' remember. It just doesn't matter anymore.

If you think about it...the same is true for any pain! Even that of a broken heart! :0(

Speak for yourself. 7 years ago and I remember every bit of it enough to not want to EVER have another child. Forget? I think not!

I remember mine enough to know I would never do it again. Probably 'cause most people are drugged up, or they block it out because it's so tramatic.
