sometimes i am dark
some have walked on me
but very few

You are the Moon. This has to be right, must be right. If it isn't, I am stumped. The Moon is round. You can't always see the moon. Sometimes it is dark, sometime it is light. Some humans have walked on the Moon, but not many. I hope this is the answer you were looking for.

I always thought the moon was always light, just during the day it's not as light because the sun is brighter. The moon just reflects the light of the sun anyway. Therefore the moon is never dark. I don't know what the answer is, but I don't think it's the moon.
