How often do wet dreams occur? I'm 16?

From what I've heard and read here, every couple of weeks is about average, from the build-up of semen. Some have them more often. If you masturbate often, you usually don't have them at all (if you're lucky, your brain will give you a freebie just because). Some guys have spontaneous emissions (I forget the other name--same idea, but happens in the daytime when you're awake) with about the same frequency. I don't know why some have one kind and some have the other. I'm guessing the "hair trigger" types like "Jim" in "American Pie" have the daytime type more often.

What's it like to not masturbate until you have a wet dream? I could never go more than two days, so I've never had the experience!

It all depends on how how often you masturbate. If you masturbate regularly, you are unlikely to have many wet dreams.

For your age it happens a lot. When you are sixteen and male it will happen a lot because everything is new to you. Don't worry about it and don't think it's bad because it isn't. You are a normal kid.
