My friend said that he was told that if he touched the leaves on a Lily, they would fall off and die. He said he tried this and they did indeed fall off. Is there any truth to this or is he crazy?!!

Well, if you dont water it for days on end, then touch the leaves, they indeed will fall off. Otherwise, Lilly plants are actually pretty hearty ! Go ahead, touch , tug, pull etc till your hearts content!LOL

nah you would be surprised the handling a flower gets before it reaches the consumer. there used to be a myth that roses out of water for 30 seconds die.

I don,t think so. Unless the touch is very abusive and crushes the leaves.

they do fall off very easily
