Yes, I told my son my car had conked out, my family thought it was my driving, then I saw it on the news - phew! It was pretty scary though, just died. I filled up at Tesco on Weds, and this was yesterday. I didn't use it today, and I'm not sure what to do, apart from wait for more info.

It's a good idea to use Shell gas or some other major brand. High octane (92-93) helps performance also; I don't care if mechanics say otherwise.
Still, I am a bit confused. Aren't there only about 13 oil refineries in the USA? So the gas can't be all that different. The news said that a lack of refineries helps push up the price of gasolene.

Yes, I filled up at Sainsburys and when driving my " toxic fume warning" light comes on. At the same time, my car loses power and limps. My car goes into the garage for investigation on Monday and I'm dreading getting the bill. Not sure we really have any comeback with the supplier as I'm not sure how to prove fault

I don't know Sojlo, but what a brilliant excuse for being late in the morning or even a couple of days.!! Anyway, I bet mechanics are rubbing their hands just now.
