Well, the hymen is a thin membrane that covers the opening of the vagina. So get a mirror and check. Usually, if the hymen is broken you usually bleed for a day or so. The hymen is not an indicator of virginity because most virgins don't bleed their first time. Some girls aren't born with a hymen or it wore away naturally with ordinary activities like sports, stretching, using tampon, riding a bike, etc.

usually you bleed when it is broken, kinda like a normal menstrual cycle but only for a very short period of time.even though most women will bleed when it happens there are some women who actually have a very deep hymen and may not experience the bleeding enough to really notice that it has broken.Its not real common but well known to be true.

you bleed the first time after sex as i have heard, and if u bleed from tampon usage, it would be in ur tampon as a period anyway
