Ok, who's with me on this and thinks American Idol is rigged? Let's think about it: For some God-forsaken reason Taylor Hicks won last year's competition. If he had so many votes and such a strong and loyal fan base, then why are finalists Chris Daughtry and Kellie Pickler leading the charts right now? Taylor's sales are going way down the drain and he's 136 on the Billboard charts. Also, fans of Chris's have complained that while they were trying to call through to vote for him last year, they kept getting the recording saying "thank you for voting for Katherine McPhee". Do you think it's rigged? I do!

Hmm...you know, you've just convinced me that it IS rigged. I agree, I think most of the people who won shouldn't have. I NEVER hear them on the radio, and all the people who left before them are off winnin' Oscars and topping the charts! I will admit, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have been successful, and Fantasia is gonna be in a musical, but the rest is history. I agree with you.

I don't know if it's rigged or not but I don't think it is really fair that you can vote as many times as you want. Everyone should only be allowed one vote, or a reasonable amount of votes. Like on Dancing With The Stars you were allowed like 7 votes. On AI you can call in and vote 1000 times if you want. That doesn't really mean you had the most people voting for you, it just means someone doesn't have a life so they redial for 2 hours straight.
