You know, spending a great deal of money on appearance, cars, clothes, house, etc... Going to the mall... Watching American Idol, MTV, and Comedy Central...Having a girlfriend/boyfriend...
Is this necessarily bad? Or just different from other people?

A good thing? Perhaps not. A needful thing? perhaps so. Where would all these cheesy school kids work when it comes to McDonald's, Gap at the Mall and Auto Zone?

Spending money to impress others is kinda lame and pathetic. MTV is kinda pathetic too. The rest can be fun.

We all have different lives. If we didn't we'd be one sad boring bunch of people living the same life, no matter how "glamorous".
