Hey ya'll. I'm having a huge problem with a 2001 Ford Escape (80k miles) here at the shop and I cannot figure out what's wrong. I was hoping someone here can maybe shed some light on this. The problem is that the Catalytic Converter is getting cherry red. The longer the car runs, the more red it gets. We've checked the compression, fuel pressure and mass air flow sensor and they were all good. We've also replaced 6 plugs, 6 injectors, 02 sensors, the rear cat and one front cat.
We think it might be dumping gas because the smell of gas is really strong while the truck runs, but we can't figure out why or if that's even the problem. If anyone is able to shed some light on this problem I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks for the answer Aussie Bloke. The Ford Escape doesn't have a return line, so that's out of the question, sadly. Also, the fuel pressure is 60-65 just like Ford calls for.. So that's also fine...
