I remember being your age and playing in bands and getting started. Sheesh-- we did all kinds of parties, gigs at local churches and synagogues. See if anything is happening at your school that needs a band to play. Put on your own concert in your garage for the neighborhood kids.
Hone your skills as musicians in front of a few people at first.
Videotape yourselves so that you can critique yourselves so that you can improve and get better.
Can I offer some advice at your gigs? Tell the guitarist (s) that LOUDER is NOT better. Keep the volume down and go for more distortion. And have the drummer tighten up his skins so that he's not sounding like he's playing trash cans....
Just some advice from an old rock and roller......

Just an idea : Go to your Chamber of Commerence ask if you can do a " Free Concert in your local Park " You may have to pay a small free for electric. Have your Business cards ready to hand out, let the people know while your playing that you do Private Parties and Concerts for a fee. Give it a try,it does work ! Good luck.

Yeah, definitely hit up some local promoters in your area. If you don't know any, ask some local bands who booked their show and try to talk to them. Also, create a myspace page with music (whether it be rough demos or polished recordings) and try to hit up all your friends and people in your area. Spreading the word is the best way to get noticed. Make friends with other local bands and get associated with people in the scene...this way people know who you are and that you're interested in playing shows. Opening gigs will be your first spots, no doubt....but keep throwing yourself out there, something will happen.

you should talk to people in charge of putting shows together... you won't get concerts, you will get small shows. I can't suggest a place, but if you have small clubs around, call them. Or if you have a VFW or something like that these are great places to organize a show. just get some bands together and put together a show.

1) I think the name is obviously too close to/a rip off of System of a Down
2) You won't be able to do much if you're underage. Bars won't let you play
