I was married to a good man for 19 years but lost him to cancer a few years ago. I want a man in my life again but I don't want to be in a monogamus relationship. I want the freedom to be with a different man from time to time and I want him to have the same option with other women. Should I put this out there as soon as I become sedxually active with someone or should I only say something about it when things get really serious?

Yes you should let them know. Let them know of your past and tell them what it is your looking for and want. This could work to your advantage because most men want a relationship with no strings attached. You should go out and have fun and do things that you couldn't have before. You seem like a great woman and you definitely deserve to go out and meet new people. I hope it all works out for you.

You should put it out there BEFORE you become sexually active with someone. I'm pretty sure that you want a man who will agree to the terms that you are looking for, and who wants the same thing. If he doesn't, then it isn't fair to get involved with him and force him to make that decision later.

Say something right away, there are people out there that are looking for or want what is called an open relationship. One of my friends has this and it works great for them. Good luck

I would say let it known right up front. Some men might even find this a turn on. Sneaking around is never good, and if you find someone you really care about, and they find out later, that would be wrong, too.

I'd put it out there earlier rather than later, because it if comes out later it may sound like your dissatisfied with the relationship or have already cheated, which wouldn't be the case. Guys like things upfront,so I'd say go earlier.

I would tell him before you kiss him (on the lips). If it's just a sex partner that you don't want to get romantically involved with, it's not really any of his business who else you have your eyes on.
