Whoa! Maybe that's what Al Gore's doing at his home. Has to be a good explanation for all that energy he's been using while espousing the need for energy conservation to combat Global Warming. Can't leave my 'fridge or freezer open right now, too cold. Have to wait till summer.

No. By doing so, we would be creating the very problem you are proposing we help. The gasses emitted by air conditioners and freezers are what help cause (albeit in a small way) global warming. No, far more drastic, yet not that complicated measures are needed.

Don't pay any attention to all those negative answers that actually think you thought it could happen. Just read the answers by the people that actually have brains. That would be cool if it would stop global warming!

Actually, you would create more.
It would take more electricity/oil/fossil fuels to keep the units running. Then there's the RD22 gas/oil/freon in the units to keep the machines cool.

Lets see.....hmmm
-------------------------------------------------
Somethings may seem like a good idea, but not everything.
I see where you are coming from.
If you think about it, technically, it seems like a good idea. If we blast chills and coolness throughout the world, it'll fix the ozone layer.
Or...
It'll just run our bills up like wicked crazy and it wouldn't help. And we'll still burn to death in the next 30-50 years.
---------------------------------------------------
My thoughts?
We better start dressing like Eskimos and learn how to build igloos out of ice.
Well, we gotta start somewhere...
