The first time I was married for 23 years. Now I have been married to husband number two for almost 4 years.

I'd been married just once...that was in 1970...yup, I'm still married to him.
Technically, however, I think I married my husband twice...first there's the civil ceremony (required by law, I think!) and then the nice church thing.
In 1995 when we celebrated our 25th anniversary, my husband refused to go for the "renewal of vows" thing (inspite of pressure from family & friends). He truly believes (then & now) that there's no need for renewal coz it didn't expire anyway...I got to respect him for that. So in 2020 (our 50th), I am not expecting any fancy ceremony nor fancy reception...it's gonna be a quiet thing just between us...as always!

Zero,I have been in a committed relationship for almost 8 years,and we have two children.Eventually we will make it official,there were other things that we wanted to take care of first,a home,everything we and our children need.But we're close to the point to where we are comfortable and hope to marry w/ in the next year!!

Three. The first I hate to count. It was a year, I was 18, and he turned out to be a control freak I moved several states away and joined the Army. The second? We just grew apart. He was always gone and I had to do everything on my own, and he was greedy, hoarded money.
My third husband is the perfect man, or as close as you can get anyway!
