I would not look out side my marriage, but I am on my way out of the marriage and to the one who said I was looking.... it could not in any way happen
I dont believe in that, I just wanted to see if people thought at 52 if you were dead or not. Believe me the divorce would come first.

Well, by the way you are trying to phrase this makes it kind of difficult to figure out an answer.

Yes, if your single at 52 there is still hope you will find someone compatible. Yes, there will be someone out there that will find you attractive at 52. No your not dead. Life and relationships aren't all about age or looks.

If you have a lousey marriage, then may be you feel like your dead, and your self-esteem is gone. Then life outside your marriage can feel a little intimidating. You might want to seek some counseling, just to get yourself on the right track, for your new beginning. Good Luck.

If I understand correctly, you are asking that at age 52 is there still a chance for you to find another lover/relationship. In my opinion the answer is ABSOLUTELY!! Just because you are 52 does not mean that life has ended, just the relationship you are currently in has ended! Life will go on, and so will you!! There are plenty of single men out there that find 52 to be the perfect age for them to be with (and who knows what age that guy will be). I do not think 52 is an old age, or even a bad age, to be a single person again. The marriage isn't working so no reason to pretend it is! End it and move on. Don't get me wrong, this does not mean that it will be easy (it never is, no matter what your age is!), but it is better than being in a relationship you don't want to be in any longer! Good luck!!

No one has limitations because of age other than it affecting employment. Many people have met and married in their 50's, 60's, 70's and above. Love doesn't stop because of age. It is harder to find because we all change our attitudes and desires in people as we get older. The possibility of finding someone can only end when they put us in a box. You are dead when you quit breathing and not before.

I don't understand - are you 52 and feeling bad about getting old?

Well, you're only as old as you feel. Sounds trite but it's very true. I'm 44 but feel like I'm 18.
