1. Because the men aren't blameless in their failing relationship.
2. They still love the woman they married.
3. Men are used to bearing the burden of unpleasant things.
4. Being alone isn't enjoyable either.
5. Alimony will sink your standard of living even further.
Oh.. and then there's that whole integrity thing about keeping your solemn pledge to stand by your wife in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, 'til death do you part.

Men will not leave their wives unless they have someone else to take their place. Men would rather suffer and be with a woman they don't love anymore, than to have to get out there and look for another woman. This is true especially if they have the kind of wife that brings home some of the bacon, takes care of the kids' needs and does all the housework and laundry...

For the same reasons women stay with their husbands if they are unhappy...it depends on the husbands and wives.

Because men can deal with unhappiness with less emotional baggage as women can. Women can't.

everyone is unhappy some of the time we need to make ourselves happy not shift the blame or responsibility onto some one else ...honesty and creativity are key..options are limitless.people just seem to gravitate towards laziness,and the misconception things will never change..want your spouse to change?..change yourself...their attitudes towards you will change

Well because divorce is a major deal, and most of them most likely feel they are too old to leav and get anew woman. Plus some of them might feel that they would be braking their oath with divorce.

They are not unhappy ... they just tell you that cuz they think your easy and want s--. Some guys are just jerks. You should'nt be wondering about that anyways.

divorce is expensive, kids could be involved, adultery which in fact is illegal popular to contrary belief when you get married you pretty much sign a binding legal contract that stats you shall be together. hope that helps

I have that same question too...I ask my husband that and he says that he doesnt know why. He says that he only feels bad during arguments and stuff. But ya...I think they just do it because its cheaper
