Im a soccer reff myself, and ive seen some female refs that scare the hell out of me. It's not hard to take a girl seriously, only the prety ones

There is a female ref in the NBA. Her name is Violet Palmer, and none of the players think she's a joke. She is respected out there on the court just like any other referee. A woman can know all the rules of the NBA and exercise authority just like any man can. I think you're a joke for coming on here and posting a stupid question like this and being extremely rude disrespectful. People who are so close-minded and ignorant like you are just mere jokes, whose opinions don't matter.

What does it matter? the sex isn't what they're looking at, they are up on their Adrenalin rush thinking about the game and the foul, weather it was good or bad. A good ref will call the game evenly and not interfere with the rhythm of the game.

A referee is a referee, and it doesn't matter whether they are female or male. Both have to pass the same tests after all, don't they???

Well, it @#$% well ought to be the same as if a MALE ref made the call but of course that wouldn't be possible unless the individual was capable of respecting all individuals regardless of sex.
