well..i use it and it has a placebo affect on me...thats about it..i change strings when i dont like the sound of them (ernie ball beefy slinky)....

Look at the revues here, they seem universally liked, much to my surprise!
I've tried Elixer's Polyweb strings before and I'd say for a long lasting string they sound pretty lousy, as his advise!

Waste of money... No more needed to be said about that. Unless you have a crappy guitar it may help?

p.s. if you want long lasting strings get Elixer's Polyweb strings...they last forever...i've had them on my acoustic for over 2 years...with constant playing and they still sound like new.

Jesse I hate to tell you this but no strings last that long while still sounding good. You might think they sound like new but I'll bet if you had a professional look at it they'd tell you differently.

Neither......I don't think it would matter, just personal preference. I used it a long time ago, but now I prefer not to use it.
