I got a G4 Ibook apple laptop its motherboard is fried but the monitor is good, I saw on eBay that someone was selling a monitor with a usb connection so one can use as second monitor. if any one know how to do that pls help

The answer is no, and no. The reason is you don't know anything about wiring up LCD's, and you're basically designing, FROM SCRATCH, a LCD to VGA (or DVI) interface. It's not something you can juryrig with a few wires.

Monitor with USB connection? Sounds like a regular monitor with a built-in USB hub to me unless you can prove otherwise.

Sell the carcass if your G4 on eBay. A pristine screen is worth a bit of money, probably more than the motherboard. The proceeds may be enough to buy a new LCD monitor. A decent 19" LCD is now $200 or less on Newegg.com
