Bronson Pinchot (played Balki)
Bronson Pinchot (right) as Balki with Mark Linn-Baker as Larry on Perfect Strangers.Bronson Alcott Pinchot, born as Bronson Poncharavsky, (born May 20, 1959 in New York City, New York) is an American actor.

Although he was born in New York City, Pinchot was raised in southern California. After graduating from South Pasadena High School, he found his way back East to attend Yale University by way of a scholarship. He was a member of Morse College. He began college studying painting but became interested in acting. He retains an active interest in ancient Greek sculpture (460-31 BC).

Pinchot has appeared in several feature films, including Risky Business, Beverly Hills Cop (and reprising his popular supporting role in Beverly Hills Cop III), It's My Party, and True Romance. However, he is probably best known for his role in the ABC family sitcom Perfect Strangers (1986–1993) as Balki Bartokomous from the (fictional) island of Mypos. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 1987 for this role. He would then star with Perry King, Shanna Reed, and Courteney Cox in the CBS sitcom The Trouble With Larry, which would be cancelled after less than half a season.

Pinchot was added to the ABC sitcom Step by Step in 1996, in part as a replacement for Sasha Mitchell, and remained on the show for a season. He played a character reminiscent of the character he played in Beverly Hills Cop. Pinchot then starred in the short-lived 1997 science fiction comedy Meego, which aired on CBS. He guest-starred in a first-season (1996) episode of the NBC sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun, playing the younger brother of Dr. Mary Albright (Jane Curtin).

In 1999, Pinchot and Gailard Sartain played the nephews of the legendary Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, respectively, in the movie The All-New Adventures of Laurel and Hardy: For Love or Mummy (1999). Although the film, which co-starred Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, was denied a theatrical release and premiered on video, Pinchot was praised for his deft impersonation of Stan Laurel.

In December 2002, Pinchot became a third-degree freemason.[1]

From March 12 to August 15, 2004, Pinchot performed in the revival of Sly Fox on Broadway, opposite Richard Dreyfuss, Eric Stoltz, René Auberjonois, Peter Scolari, and others.

Pinchot was a cast member on the fifth season of the VH1 series The Surreal Life, which premiered July 2005.

Mark Linn-Baker (played Larry Appleton)
Mark Linn-Baker (born June 17, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American actor and director famous for his role as Larry Appleton on the television sitcom Perfect Strangers. The show paired Linn-Baker with Bronson Pinchot (as Balki Bartokomous), creating a Laurel & Hardy-like comedy duo. They played distant cousins who meet for the first time when Balki travels to Chicago from his native island of Mypos. They become roommates, showcasing Linn-Baker as the nebbishy straightman and Pinchot as the outrageous foreigner.

Linn-Baker also guest starred in one episode of the successful ABC TV series Full House, as Dick Donaldson, the wealthy, snobbish cousin of Becky Donaldson Katsopolis (Lori Loughlin). Linn-Baker also guest starred on an episode of Miami Vice as Bonzo Barry and on an episode of "Moonlighting" ("Atlas Belched") as Phil West.

In 2005, he was a regular cast member on the WB Network sitcom, Twins. The show was cancelled after a single season.

Linn-Baker also directed numerous episodes of Family Matters, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and The Trouble with Larry.

Before his entry into television, Linn-Baker had a notable film role as Benjy Stone in the 1982 comedy film, My Favorite Year, co-starring with Peter O'Toole. In a manner similar to his role in Perfect Strangers, Linn-Baker played the straight man to O'Toole's outrageous character, Alan Swann. Linn-Baker also appeared as a spokesperson for Peter Pan peanut butter commercials in the late 1980s and 1990s.
