I'm just curious to see how often women get frustrated and don't want to submit to their man's authority. I am not saying that is an excuse for her disobeying him - I'm just wondering.

Usually I dont find it hard, but for some reason I have this week. I guess that why my bottoms been red and sore all week long.

I will not obey any man, husband or not, so much so that I had the word taken from my wedding voels 22 years ago.
If my husband askes me to do most anything and I can i will gladly do it, but if he tells me "no way", first of all I'm his wife, not his child, second to me its rude to demand things from people, and third this is 2007 those neandrithal thoughts went out the window when women got rights.

Often. It's not that I don't want to submit to him, I do. But I get very frustrated sometimes, mostly with his punishments for poor behavior. I have a very hard time being humble enough to "receive" his authority.

Obey?I'm an adult I don't obey anyone!I'll be damned if any man is ever going to expect me to follow his commands.It's different when your in a relationship and consult w/ each other over things that effect the both of us,but there's no telling each other what we can and cannot do!!

Obey, First off I am no dog so I dont have to obey anybody. I know what lines to cross and not cross. My husband doesnt look at it as obeying he knows I know whats what.

I dont submit to ANYONE! You need to stop living in the dark ages.....I mean, we do stuff like that for fun sometimes, but never for real....We respect and listen to eachother....I hope this isnt what you really think, or its ALWAYS gonna be just you and your hand

I do what i want, say what i want ( i wished sometimes he'd stop me) lol
my husband let's me do what i want. every once in awhile he puts his foot down which i do push it a little but i like it when he puts his foot down. meow.
everyone said we wouldn't last a year but 18 yrs later we're still together got married at 16 & 18 .

Me and my husband do not OBEY each other, we respect each other and our wishes. He does not like the show Desperate Housewives, so I don't watch it anymore, not because he is in charge, but because I respect him.
