my mom and her husband and my lil brother just showed up today in the american embassy (we are from Dominican) and they got the visa today. they will be going to the USA on april. Im really sad in a way bc i have long distance relationship (i am already engaged and we are planning to get marry soon) and i went to the embassy to get a visa and i got rejected. awww and i can't go and see my fiance. Why? bc I have my dad and he made the petition once when I was 9 years old and he didn't keep going with this. now, see what i went thru..... just bc he didnt cancel it once. and now i cant see my fiance.. and not even that, i feel super sad that i cannot be the one saying " Im going to visit you this ___ day or month" .. you know.. and his family had invited me since two decembers already to their family celebration. Now they wish i can go there for summer and head down to the beach with them. This, by now, wont gonna be possible.

How can i feel happy about it?

I would feel sad too. However, I would look at the bright side and realize that you can still apply for a visa. You could always save the money and come to America at a later time. If you are meant to be with your fiancee, things will work in that favor. Don't get discouraged. Where there is a will, there is a way. You need to do everything you can before deciding to be unhappy. Thank you and GOD bless.

Your fiance can request a Fiance visa for you. It will be good for 90 days and you can marry here in the USA.
