Stop saying I have bad English spelling!!! I know I have bad spelling, but I don't have bad English!!! When I was little I had a lot of ear infections and the doctor says that it effected the way I heard the sounds so now I can't spell good. My spelling is getting a lot better though thanks to Spell Check. Its not my fault Yahoo woulden't let me spell check some parts. Stop saying I have bad spelling! It gets old from at school where I have my terible hand writing to deal with also.

Rent a Spanish movie with English sub-titles.
or you could invest in a program that teaches you to speak spanish.

If you have made it to advanced spanish, I can only wonder just how in the world you got there without learning how to speak spanish.
It's a bit late now to help you, I'm afraid. Since Advanced spanish is really just a better understanding of the 16 tenses of the verbs, I would guess you never learned the basics of verb conjugation and, if that's true... YOU ARE LOST NOW.
Since most Americans only use the Present
Subjunctive form of verbs because they can't handle past and future tenses, I am truly amazed any Americans can learn a language like Spanish that relies so heavily of irregular verbs and multiple tenses.

buy a rosetta stone program to catch up, turn on spanish tv and start to try to figure out what they are saying, or go to an area heavily populated with latinos and listen, or get a tutor.

I don't think your only problem is in spanish. I suspect you're just as bad in english.
What is your problem, 5 year olds learn languages just listening to someone talking in just the one language. Are you implying, that you have gotten dumber since you were five.

Transfer out. Tell her you aren't picking it up and you need a slower course. If there isn't another course, take a different language like French or German.
