Lonely Bastard, it don't matter what they say, they're jealous you like Coldplay and they don't...who gives a Shitake mushrooms what they think? You have a brain for once reason and one reason only:
To think for yourself!!
I like all kinds of music, not just rock, Latin, Reggae, Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop-everything except country... :D so you should take our advice and think for yourself-think freely...now I don't mean go and thinking of destroying the whole world, but-you know what I mean ;)

I don't know what people have against them. I personally really like Coldplay because they have sounds that are really different from a lot of today's crappy MTV music. Given the choice between being a Coldplay fan and a Hillary Duff or Nickelback fan I'd go with Coldplay hands down.

They probably listen to the crap they play on radio nowdyas like Avril Lavinge, Nickelback, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, etc. Do you really respect their opinions? I listen to my internet radio station and blast Underworld, Aphex Twin, The Posies, Teenage Fanclub, Supergrass, Radiohead, Super Furry Animals and Big Star and they all give me the "What the hell is he listening to?" look. It's hilarious.
If they think Coldplay is depressing, they should hear eels, Radiohead, Red House Painters and Nick Drake. They will really slit their wrist if they do and you can sit back and enjoy the brillant music playing.

I think they believe that ColdPlay is becoming kinda like the coffee shop club bands. Ya know, loney dark and depressing. Just listen to the lyrics. I love some of their music but it can be rather difficult to listen to.
Plus they are becoming kinda trendy. People hate things that are trendy. The bands that are all underground are considered "COOL" for the youngsters because they are new.

Everyone knows that Coldplay is the best band in the world. But they are jealous cause no band makes music like that.

They are just stupid, and can't appreciate good music. COLDPLAY KICKS ***!!! Don't listen to the jerks. They probably slit their wrists without liustening to coldplay in the first palce. HHEHEHE

I don't know...ColdPlay is awesome...Maybe they are all old farts or they are just messing with you..Find some thing silly to break their balls about..I find when getting picked on, it is best to find some thing to pick on them about....
