You need to be honest and truthfull in your relationship. It is best to not hide secrets from your spouse because when they do find out they will be more upset at you because you never told them. Always be honest and don't hide things from them.
If your spouse can't love you for your faults then it was never meant to be. They aren't the one for you.
Married for almost 10 years.

the strongest relationships are the ones in which we are most ourselves, without artifice.
Is there some reason that you are afraid to show your husband you "weaknesses"? Do you think he wouldn't accept you anymore? Do you think he would be shocked, or love you less, if he knew your "secret thoughts"?
Or do you think that maybe he has the same nasty secrets, the same insecurities and fears that you do?
You will never know unless you risk it. And you will never be as close as you will be when he hears all the crappy things about you and still loves you anyway.

You should already talk about that stuff and feel comfortable with your spouse before you get married. If you loves you, he'll accept you no matter what. If he doesn't than you shouldn't be marrying him.

You need to be comfortable enough with yourself, to be able to tell your spouse anything. Do you think they are stupid? They will find out anyway, so why try to hide things?

Don't worry, your weaknesses will be spotted. That's what living together does.

Concentrate on helping the other blossom, and you'll be happy.
