Who is the most outrageous character in sports (past or present)? You kind of cringe sometimes when you see someone do something that is so outrageous that you are left scratching your head and wondering, "Why did he/she do that?" If i have to pick one from the past, i'd probably go with Deion Sanders, AKA Neon Deion, BKA PrimeTime! This cat was so outrageous and so out there he had the nerve to risk his credibility by making a music video with MC Hammer! Remember "Must Be The Money?" I hope that strikes a nerve! And if i have to pick one from today, i'd go with Terrell Owens. He's got all that talent, and can't stay out of trouble for the urge of trying to break up a team or leaving teammates and colleagues in disarray! And what about Dennis Rodman? The colored hair, tattoos, piercings, and penchant for wild behavior! Remember his book, "Bad As I Wanna Be?" Do you ever wonder who's the next to lose his/her mind and do something wild and crazy?

Tyson is the only one I'd really worry about. Come on Rodman, yeah he ACTED crazy but that's what it was. Who would know the name Dennis Rodman other then how he acted. Yet he was one of the best rebounders. Look up the stats of the time. It was self promotion. Just like Neon Deion and T.O. They are about promoting themselves. Nothing wrong with that. Look at Tyson though. Biting an ear off? He is a troubled individual. He admits that for the record. He really worries me more then the rest. They have a line where they know they can't cross. That line is the that they are about self-promotion and not actually going crazy or anything. Tyson doesn't have that line because really he doesn't seem to be in control of himself like that.

I don't know may RAT is thinking of Doc Ellis. He didn't smoke bud though as to the famous one. He had done acid. He didn't realize they had a game that day. He went out and pitched a perfect game and said YEARS later that he was on acid and the ball told him what pitch to throw. Oh and the talking to the ball, how is that crazy? They just talk to the ball as a way to help their nerves probably.
