i'm not sure what your equation is exactly...i think you are asking for:

3X + 4Y=11
so you would say that...
3X=11-4Y
and then...
X=(11-4Y)/3

4y-2x-11= 0

So here is how you do it step by step:

x -3 x + 4y = 11
-2x +4y = 11
-2x +4y - 11 = 0 (Now Rearange)
4y-2x -11 = 0
