Here's how to stop the runny nose - DRUG FREE:
If you have normal blood pressure you might have pregnancy-induced rhinitis. (Pregnant sniffles) You might try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean).

The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot.

You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis.

There is a nasty stomach flu going around - no fever, ache and nauseous or vomiting or both. Unfortunately the flu shot will not protect you from stomach flu. :(

BUT being nauseous or vomiting and aching are also some symptoms of early labor.

As long as you can keep fluids down and stay hydrated, in either case, take it easy (take a couple of days off work if you are not on maternity already, if you work) and rest. Keep in mind if specifically your back or belly really starts to ache. If you have ANY doubts or questions, call you doctor. That is what they are there for!

Take care!

I felt this exact same way 2 weeks ago! I am 33 weeks pregnant. Without a fever, you're in the clear with the flu, but it can sure be miserable. I had TERRIBLE congestion, headache, nausea for a little less than a week. The doctor said I could take benadryl - which I took at night (it also knocked me out so i can sleep). It sucks having to avoid sudafed and nasal sprays because I knew they would give me relief, but we can't have them.

There are tons of "bugs" going around. Stay hydrated and hopefully you will recover soon!

As long as you're temperature doesn't go up, I wouldn't worry, it could be a mild flu, but that shouldn't be too much of a worry! Keep checking your temperature to make sure, but don't panic.

Feeling groggy and achey can be a sign of impending labour, so make sure your hospital bag is ready!

Good luck!

As long as you dont have fever youre fine.

I felt like I had the flu a week or so before I went into labor. I basically just felt like shiot.
