Do you think the country can change if the incoming president can make some changes? Or do you think that the country will still take a long time to have just the basics like constant NEPA (elec.)..?

What do you think?

I think that Obasanjo made some steps in a positive direction. It's difficult to govern any nation out of poverty and civil unrest. It will certainly take time, but Nigeria has potential. There's no such thing as a hopeless nation. I think that much of Nigeria's future does depend upon the presidents. Obasanjo tried very hard to fight corruption within Nigeria, and he was successful at stopping much of it. If the next presidents can continue fighting corruption and work to better education and create jobs, Nigeria can prosper.
