It's called hormones! I'm 34 years old and right around the time of my period I can expect to get at least one disgusting pimple on my chin.

If you're not on the pill, you might want to ask your doctor about that. Sometimes they prescribe the pill to clear up the acne. Also, make sure your cleansing you face with an acne fighting cleanser. I've used Proactiv in the past and it does help. Right now i'm using Biore Ice Blemish. I've been using it for two months and only have had one pimple.

It's hormone based. Before and during your period some hormone levels drop while others rise. If you aren't on birth control already, that could help as it helps to regulate your hormone levels throughout your monthly cycle. If you are already on birth control you may need to change to another dosage/brand/etc. No matter what, you need to consult your physician whether it be a family md, gynecologist or dermatologist.

Pimples are caused by hormonal changes, you should acutally see your doctor to find out if the effects can be minimized through medication.

it happened to me and sometimes it still does, I try to drink lots of water when i know is coming around. Also excerise regularly...if its really bad you can talk to your derm or also the gyn and get on the pills and that would help control your hormones. =) good luck
