Mine is going to be March 11th, and I will be 36 weeks... Something to look forward to, and washing baby clothes and putting new stuff away will help keep you busy, this is my second child and those last couple weeks really drag by!

A lot of people even wait until after the baby is born to throw a shower. That is the way it happened for me and I loved it! 36 weeks is only too late if you feel you will not be up for a party at that time.

It is a little late...what is the baby comes early then everything has to be resceduled. Full term is 37 weeks so it is possible. I am due May 26 and my shower is sceduled for March 25. You need time to get the room ready and wash all the clothes before baby wears them

That is a bit late. If I were you, I'd want more time to set everything up, wash everything, etc before the baby comes. Unfortunately, you can't say anything or you'll look ungrateful. At least you'll have a few weeks to prepare. Maybe you could line up some help! Good luck!

A baby shower is good at anytime.. With my sister we had it planned for the 1st of March and she dilivered her daughter Feb. 22nd. We still went ahead with the baby sower and she enjoyed it so much... Between 34-36 weeks I believe is a good time for a shower...

No its not to late. Some wait until the last week of pregnancy. That is when you see mothers leave the shower for the hospital.

I think its fine! You should be greatful you are getting one. And most of the stuff you get will be for after the baby is born so it won't matter that you are getting it that late because you still wont be able to use it for awhile!
