What would you suggest? I called couple of consignment stores - they are too picky - seasonal, or only 8 items at a time, on hangers, by appointment, etc. I have tons of clothes in good condition, it will take me forever to bring them 8 at a time and wait if they sell or not, for 40% of their price :)) Is there any other way = to get some money for this in bulk??
I'm in Bay Area CA

I don't want to spend a lot of time on that - just bring them - get the money and leave :)
And I'm not asking for BIG $$$, even though they are mostly designer's clothes, barely worn. (I tend to overstuff my closet :))

Sell on Ebay and sell it as a bulk lot you can do twenty , more or less its up to you and believe me people will buy just be real descriptive when you write your listing and group the sizes, like size small, then give 2or 3 sizes in that range. Also you can use craiglist.org

why not have a clothes exchange with your friends and swap clothes with each other. if that isnt an option and you really need the money place an ad in the paper or find more consignment stores you can go to more than one consignment store.

I've actually found that donating them to someplace like the Goodwill actually gives me a better value as a tax write-off than if I try to sell them. Plus, it helps out others. Do the math, see if it works for you and your situation, or not.

You can always wait for warm weather and have a yard sale or find out in your area if there is a website for auctions/yard sale. I know in my area we have a web site similar to yard sales....you don't have to leave your home but you can contact the seller and buy the product.
