I went into Claire's & Icing the other day. the people were rude there but I want my ears pierced! Are there any other places to get it done at?

Never ever ever get your ears pierced at a shop like Claire's or Wal-Mart! The people there are very inexperienced with piercings, and the gun pretty much ruins your ears, and it makes it very easy to get infections. I recommend that you go to a tattoo/piercing studio to get it done because the people there are properly trained and they use brand new clean tools to do it.

of course! check out your local beauty salons - some of them offer ear piercing. sometimes malls have places called piercing pagoda, and that's all they do there. even some wal-marts do piercing.
call around - claire's & the icing are not the only game in town.

Yea about Claires I am starting to wonder. My daughter got her ears pierced there we followed all the rules about taking care of your ears etc. and within 3 months of having them they ripped through both ears, my neice same thing, and I have a friend I talked to last night same thing happen to her so I dont know if its cons. or if its crappy pierce job..

most Claries i've been to have been good at earring piercings but i got both of mine done at walmart and they came out fine (two in each ear going for a 3rd soon) its not expensive, just make sure your wal mart is clean and the person doing it has done it before, ask questions, lots of questions. tattoo shops are good too, same as walmart, make sure they are clean and ha experiance, ask questions. good luck

dont go to claires, they use the piercing gun to pierce your ears and its not a good way to do it, you need to go to a tattoo place and get it done with a needle

Please go to a tattoo/piercing shop where the use needles. Guns are soooo bad for you. They're way too dull. It's like trying to punch a hole through your body with just your fists! You'll be damaging your ear and it can easily be infected.
The needle is alot faster, more precise, sanitary, and less painful.

Walmart or like someone else said any tattoo parlor around your area should do offer ear piercings.

You can get your ears pierced at Wal-Mart. Or you can get it done at home. I let my sister and bestfriend pierce my ears, it actually didn't hurt. Good Luck

Walmart, I kid you not.
And they will even have a person stand on each side (by request) to pierce your ears at the same time, so you don't have to feel the pain twice.

A tatoo shop will do it.
I had always had mine done at hair salons and the tech school. Those would be a couple of other places.
