you here of camps and resorts and whole families that do it, I just find it hard to believe that that many people can be together nude and not have anything sexual going on. What do you think?

I believe the people who like to be nudists feel encumbered by clothes. Many times people who get sexually excited at nudist beaches are asked to leave. The fact they are naked is not supposed to be sexy, it's an expression of freedom.

It depends on the site. Most are people just hanging out nude, and open sexual activity will get you tossed out. There are a few that are highly sexualized (the Hedonism resorts in Jamaica), but they are pretty much shunned by the 'traditional' nudist community.

Well, I was at this beach and some old ladies decided to take all their clothes off as well as their grandchildren and the mothers.
I can tell you that I saw firsthand NO guy even attempt to do anything remotely sexual.
But then again, how are you supposed to introduce yourself to someone that's barenaked?
"Heyyy, I like that birth spot on your left breast."
Seriously, it's weird.

it wouldnt be recreational with me. there would def be sex involved...
maybe its the "older" generation that sees it as recreational.
