People who say that money isn't everything obviously have it. I recently got a ticket for public intoxication and I couldn't pay it, and I also couldn't go to court bc I couldnt get off work, and now I have a warrant, so I have to pay $756. At my new job (that I started a week and a half ago), I'll make $1000 a month, and Im also trying to move out. My boyfriend and I constantly struggle with money.
So in your opinion, is it everything? Doesnt money make the world go round?!
They say that money cant buy love, but would you date someone who didnt have it?

Money isn't everything, but it makes life easier. Of course, everything is easier when we make better personal choices, like not drinking to the point of public intoxication.

I am an attorney, I make plenty of money, and I am madly in love with a man who has virtually no income.
You should have told the court you couldn't pay it, they will give you extra time if you need it, as long as you pay something. go in every week with $10 if that is all you have, the judge will se you are trying, and if they are a good judge they will give you plent of time to pay.
I hope also, that $0 of that $1000 a month is going towards alchohol, or even towards eating out or a soda, or anything else frivilous, until you get yourself out of the pickle you are in.
Good luck.

Yes I would date someone without money if they were a decent human being and I liked them. Courts will usually make arrangements if you can't pay, like community work and you could have let them know you couldn't make it. I think if you got your act together you might be surprised what kind of good life you could have, Of course more is better but most people live modestly.Try taking a course on money management. Good luck

Money can not buy happiness but it is what runs this world. Everytime you turn around you need money to do something, but also the people who say money isn't everything are the ones with it and the ones with out sit there wishing they had it just to survive.

Let the all-wise Lord of Glory (Jesus) answer that question:
Matthew 16:26 (King James Version)
For what is a man [or woman] profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
If you had known, and obeyed, the following you wouldn't be in trouble now:
Proverbs 20:1
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

It's sad, but the world does unfortunately revolve around money. And yes money can't buy you happiness, but it sure can rent it out for a few hours.

Money isn't everything, it just gives you options you wouldn't otherwise have.
Advice: if you are having financial troubles, you may want to consider spending less on alcohol.
