some one sugested kaspersky internet security,it is a 30 day free trial and then it costs £15 a year is it a good security suit. ?

try AVAST or AVG for anit-virus, just as good and FREE
spywareguard for spyware protection; FREE as well
your on Broadband? user a good firewall ROUTER. fighting firewall issues (DOS issues, etc) is better left to the *hardware* then trying to install a software variation (it will task ur CPU)...

kaspersky internet security is one of the better security suites avalible and for £15 a year that si quite reasonable
however kaspersky also do a free anti-virus ,although its called"active virus sheild" its actually made and powered by kaspersky
i used it for a few months last year and found it very good,picks up malware quickly and effectively

common misconception is that anti-virus software defends against just viruses,they actually defend against all kinds of malware(viruses,trojans,worms,spyware,adware)so in reality this program is really a complete protection suite
however you wont do any harm by also using spybot and windows defender for a added barrier of defence

I would suggest taking a look at other programs to see what offers the best of protection. I use Invisus Direct, and will never use any other company. My program is updated daily to make sure that any new predators out there will not invade my privacy~!

I have McAfee. It came with the Comp. I dont know the why`s or wherefors but I find it absolutely fantastic. Have not come across anything it cant handle. Perhaps Im lucky if you take note of other answerers
