This morning I was feeling so sick to my stomach and the sprite and crackers and all the other things people say to eat to get you thru the morning sickness never helped.. I was tired of feeling sick to my stomach so just trying different things I ate a pickle and within minutes I stopped having the sick feeling.. Did this pickle really help me or is it all in my head???

Hey, if it worked it worked. Who cares if someone else thinks it is crazy? You stopped feeling sick and that's all that matter!

Congratulations and here's to many more days where the pickle works!

The person that said cravings are all in your head probably has never been pregnant. It is not in your head, when you crave something, you crave it. You have cravings even when you are not pregnant...anyways, it may have been the pickle. Sometimes, a certain food sttles your stomach, peraonllly pickles made me worse.....good luck and congrats on yout little oe!!!

You're not crazy....for me it was Banana's. The crackers and sprite made me sick too. But just eat small meals, frequently and make sure they are whole foods and your body will not get low blood sugar making you queezy. Good Luck!

It could be, as your pregnancy goes on, you will find that you have aversions to food you used to love and sometime the only thing you can stomach is really odd. Thats ok. Its normal especially at the begining. In my first trimester, I developed an aversion to cheese, but olives were great.

i was told to mix crackers and dill pickles. the baking soda from the crackers and vinegar from the pickles react to eachother and soothe the tummy.

If it works then it doesn't really matter where it is.

Enjoy your pickles :-)
