Yea I think I have it alll backwards too... a conservative that uses high efficieny light bulbs, I drive a 4 cylinder vehicle, got a fireplace insert taht burns feed corn, which burns alot cleaner than wood.
I need to burn wood and coal and get a big V8 gas guzzler and and put them big 100 watt standard bulbs back in... what was i thinking.

I hate to tell you this Jethro, but removing your catalytic converter actually decreases greenhouse gas emissions. You'll be sucking in more gasoline fumes from now on, but in your case I doubt it will make any difference.

I know that you are going to purchase the requisite "green energy credits" to offset your increasing "carbon footprint".
You don't have to do it today. According to Al "Big Foot" Gore, anytime in the next three or four decades should suffice.
