I'm just trying to figure out what is involved in becoming an archeologist. If I have my mind set that I'm going to get my PhD, can I skip redoing my BA in Archeology/Anthropology, and go straight to my masters in Archeology? And does anyone kno the best places to do a BA/Masters/PhD in Archeology (I'm interested in both ancient classical and underwater Archeology)? In addition, if anyone knows of any funding that's available for this kind of thing (grants, scholarships, etc.) that would be useful as I already have debt from my BA in Communications.

What you need to do is find out the prerequisites for the program you want to go into. You may have to take some classes in archeology and geology but I doubt you will have to get another degree.

You can. I think you need to take the GRE. You need to have a good application and good GRE score with good GPA. I not sure because I'm in High school
