As for me, I had this one girl who sat in class with me for the longest keep asking if I was Portuguese, and I would tell her no over and over, lol. I've also been mistaken for Spanish, Greek, Lebonese, Persian, Colombian, Puerto Rican, and lots of other things, when I am actually Brazilian/Italian/English.

Often people assume I am Black. I am Black so it's no mistake I just like to say it. Brazilian/Italian/English (I thought they called themselves British). is a interesting combo. Better if you speak all three languages. Spanish/Italian/English

Been mistaken for Ethiopian, even to the extent of having people chatter away at me in Amharic for minutes at a time before they note the blank expression on my face.

All my friends at my university thought I was a black Mexican when they met me. This one girl in one of my English classes asked if I was Dominican. In high school, this chick started talking to me in Spanish. I have no idea why.
