The answer there is pretty obvious.
It's AFI. They've been making music for 16 years. The other bands are just sh/t.
AFI is the only band there that actually have hardcore and punk cred up their sleeves.
Most of the answerers here probably think AFI is new. No, they're not. They're not emo either. They were hardcore-punk super band back on the days. East Bay Hardcore and punk represent!
There is NO competition here. AFI wins and own those bands.

Although I do really like Panic!, AFI & Fallout Boy- My Chemical Romance has a few good songs, & so does Lostprophets....my faves are still Dashboard Confessional, Coldplay, The Killers, The Fray, Death Cab For Cutie, Brand New, Snow Patrol, Ok Go, Maroon 5 & All-American Rejects

They are all great but I would have to pick My Chemical Romance. They have a unique and awesome sound and oh yeah the guitarists are freaking hot!!!

The other bands look like babies against AFI.
15 to almost 16 years of hard work and more than 24 albums and EP's released!
Those other bands can't beat that.
