I watch, but more for the comedy than the matches.
These are the most talented actors on earth to do what they do in front of a live audience each week and keep a straight face.
Any other actor would have to go through several takes to get it right.
But, many people simply refuse to believe that it is SCRIPTED.
There is a big difference between scripted and fake. If it were fake, nobody would ever be hurt.
Yes the outcomes are decided, but many times you see a wrestler fall 20 feet to concrete, thats not faked. The injuries, blood, and gore are far too often real.

Very few people think wrestling is real now adays. Those who do are the same kind of people who think Dr. Evil is really trying to take over the world in the Austin Powers movies.
I assume that you watch Movies, TV shows, read books and play video games. How many of those are real? And yet you still like them right? You are able to susspend your disbelief and be entertained by fantasy and fiction. The same goes for professional wrestling. Its just anouther show on TV with writers and actors.

WWF WWE and all that stuff is exactly what the companies claim it to be. Sports Entertainment. Plain and simple. The people are actors in a live sitcom which is actually quite entertaining if u give it a chance.

I know it is fake. But to many people it helps to distract them from the real world for a moment. And yeah some do take to the extreme, i don't know why. But i do some moves do hurt and are real, i did wrestle for a while in a cheap wrestling league, but it was not for me. Its just Entertainment.

Professional wrestling is a soap opera. Occasionally there is real blood and real injuries. If you look at it as a soap opera, then you understand its appeal to viewers. Look how long Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and One Life to Live have been on the air.
Now does it make some sense to you?

I am so sick and tired of people whining about how wrestling is fake. Yes it is fake but who the **** cares?!?!? It is entertainment, It has drama, action, comedy. as do CSI, Desprate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy. Why do people not complain about these shows being fake? It is the same as wrestling

hey F*** you do u have any idea how many of these superstars die or get injured every week? you don't undertsand the risks of wrestling. This question made me so pissed it ain't funny. i want to see ur A** fall off a 16 ft foot ladder thru 2 tables so just shut ur mouth!
