Yeah, I saw the same thing on www.imdb.com. Do not trust them! I did not like that episode description...it was for Sokka's Master btw.
The actual show is mainly about Chinese martial arts, and elements. I understand the whol concept because I take karate and understand the forms of martial arts they use in the bending of the elements. Here's a list just for fun. Water= Tai Chi Quan, Fire= Northern Xiaolin, Earth= Hungar, Air= Bagua.
If they put aliens on the show, I will turn off my television set, and write an extremely angry letter to the creators...it defeats the purpose of the show!

Where did you hear this?
Hmm...Avatar is a great show and it has done so well without needing to bring in aliens, the abilities of the different tribes are already so cool and put to good use.
If they are bringing in aliens I will see where they take it before I pass judgement I feel that they have more than enough threads to form great stories WITHOUT aliens being involved. I want the character development to continue and new methods of using the various bending styles.
we'll see

Well, you're kind of dealing with Aliens already.
How many people do you know who can bend water, earth or fire?
Crap! I'm almost 50 years old, and my favorite show is a bald kid with an arrow tattooed on his head!

Aliens? Its oriental, aliens would not fit in with the theme, so I doubt it.
