I heard that the lead singer of Hinder died of a drug overdose. Is this true?

No way. Just because they did a drug song doesn't mean they die while the album is still hot. You have to write new material and die.
Seriously, if they did it would be all over VH-1 and MTV and such, maybe even CNN.
