I put locking keys on it and it still goes out.
The neck is maple and the fret board is rosewood,
What guitar string would you suggest would be the best for it to stay in tune?
Someone told me to get a Nut with rollers. It would be caled a roller nut.
I notice that if I just pull a little pressure forward or back on the head of the guitar that it easily bends the tuning of the strings.
I'm just wondering if there is no use.Maybe buying this for 150 dollars was stupid of me to do.
It looks beutiful. It's a see through Blue guitar les paul image.
I put new pickups in it and it's improved the sound immensly.
Should I just forget about it.
I would hate to hear that I should just forget about it, but lay it on me if you believe there is no hope.
It's just that I love really unique/strange Guitars,But of course I want them to be able to keep up with a real playing working musician.

If the nut doesn't help, nothing will: it's the neck.

You need a new axe, my friend.

Not sure what is happening when you put a little pressure on the "head of the guitar". A maple neck should not bend easily. But the neck is probably acting like a lever on the the soft flexible body of the guitar. In doing so it will go out of tune when played and there is nothing you can do. Changing the nut will not correct this. You can make it sound better with better pick ups and maybe a better bridge, but as long as you have any flex even the tiniest bit between the neck and body you will get a tonal change, just like bending strings. That will cause it to go out of tune.
