My boyfriend is a nervous wreck when he watches the film 28 days later. It all started 'cos he had to get a train to the same place it was set the next day. It played on his mind that night. I was just wondering what freaks you out??? With me it has to be one of the original living deads where the caretaker of the cematary is turning into a zombie so cremates himself, but can't remember the films name. xxx

I remember when i saw the ring. Me and my friends was one of the 1st ppl to see it out of our group.

We were convinced were going to die and on the 7th day at 10 or 11 ( i4gotten now) i was watching tv and suddenly the screen went static and i started screaming my head off, but it turned out it was just the Neutrogena advert. I felt like such a idiot.

the films that haunts me is, "the hill has eyes " the rape scene freaked me out for days.

The Shining. My dorm at university had long narrow corridors that were not very well lit at night and everytime I had to walk down those passageways I would be reminded of the creepy twin sisters that Danny Torrance sees whilst riding his bike. I also have an overactive imagination so for the longest time I couldn't look out of a window at night in case I saw the Mothman from the Mothman Prophesies. And, as for turning on the TV and getting the fuzzy snowy image as in The Ring when it isn't tuned in properly... creeps me out to think that those some mad deranged dead lady might crawl out of it to murder me...

THE EXORCIST!!!!! When I was in college, I worked in Georgetown, Wash,D.C the city the movie was filmed in. My friends and I use to dare each other late at night to walk up and down the long staircase that the priest came tumbling down, when he was thrown out of the window by the possessed little girl named Reagan (played by Linda Blair). Even though it was only a fictional movie it gave me the creeps just looking at that house, and walking up and down those stairs. That house, and those stairs are still standing this day but the building structures around them have changed. But I stiff feel if you were there this day, you would get a funny feeling inside the pit of your stomach, I guarantee you that.

Look at this image and see what I mean if you have seen the movie.

The oringinal Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

The one from 1974, directed by Tobe Hooper.

By far, the scariest movie ever. It was shot on 16mm, and really feels like a documentary. It's all a bit low quality, but this adds to the creepiness. You feel like you're following a bunch of kids on a road trip that goes completely awry.

It pretty much invented the slasher movie genre, and anyone who loves horror should really go back and see it.

There have been a bunch of "sequels" and remakes, but they all have been cheesy knockoffs, and don't compare to the original.

The film is the original Night of the Living by George Romero.
These zombie movies freak me out too so I would have to agree with your 100% that those are the scariest kinds of movies. My scariest zombie movie is the new Dawn of the Dead those zombies come running soooooooooo fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Event Horizon. I don't know why. The movie just feels evil. It's a little cheesy at times but for some reason I've only been able to watch it once. My wife and I watched back in college in the DAYTIME and it still scared the crap out of me. If you want to see a movie that ends in true hopelessness for all characters involved watch that movie.

Erm, I didn't think the ring was scary, but the part when the girl pops out of the well at the end and gets nearer the TV freaked me out!
