Its are imperfections who make us who we are. You should never use the word inadequate when referring to yourself, instead use the word different. No one will ever be a carbon copy of you and at the same level you will never be a carbon copy of anyone else. What you call inadequate, I call different, and difference define who we are. You may be inadequate for example when it comes to sports, but on the flip side, you may be the best painter in the word. Do what you love in life and you will never fell inadequate.
